THEY.ARE.NOT.THE ONLY.ONES. Yes, split personalities anyone can be diagnosed by a psychologists but for the sake of Astrology, we are going to stick to four signs and keep it simple. Without further a do…

Before we begin, let’s be clear, there are 12 signs: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. Within these 12 signs, there are 4 elements and 3 types which leads us to explore the Mutables.

Mutable signs are able to adapt to changing environments and people rather quickly. They usually inspire or are enthused about changes that can improve and or challenge people, situations or places. Let’s begin with Gemini.

Geminis are the only mutable sign that possess both male and female traits. They are often associated with Castor and Pollux, but let’s not forget, other stories associate these two with their twin sisters Helen of Troy and Clytemnestra. Most Gemini people demonstrate male traits such as extroversion, aggressiveness, quick physical movements, sexual agility and same gender chauvinists.

Extroverted thinking, sharing and expressing their opinions and thoughts about anything and anyone without reservation or attention to time. We see this in Donald Trump on his show the Apprentice and most recently during his campaign trail for presidency. The late Joan Rivers was also very vocal when giving her perspective on people and situations. The thought that their opinions might offend someone is not there. That filter does not exist with this male trait.

When confronted they get mentally agitated and can display aggressive behavior by raising their voices, getting close to you and open their mouths and yell. Very similar to the way a bird would start squawking and flapping their wings, or the way Patti Labelle starts to yell *coughing* excuse me, sing and dance on stage when overwhelmed by music or emotion. She’s a Gemini as well. Most times, people laugh at this display of aggressive behavior. Others relate to it.

Quick physical movements like talking very fast or fidgeting are all things Geminis are known to do. This is actually a very common Mercurial trait. Mercury is the ruling planet of Gemini and Virgo. Fast mental processing of words and ideas gives them the ability to efficiently write, compose and sing and/or rap without hesitation. Most popular rappers and songwriters are Geminis such as Busta Rhymes, Iggy Azelia, Azelia Banks, Melissa Etheridge, Lauryn Hill, Alanis Morissette, Stevie Nicks, and Kanye West; and authors like Gwendolyn Brooks and Joan Collins. You may also find Geminis in quick timed sports like Anna Kournikova, Joe Namath and Venus Williams or events associated with swift walking like on a fashion runway, such as Naomi Campbell, Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima.

Sexual agility you may find some Geminis are able to transition into bisexuality quite effortlessly. Their sexual curiosity allows them to look at sex as a sport. How fast they can bring sexual satisfaction to someone or how fast them can establish sexual contact, or how fast they can turn someone on while trying to be graceful. This male trait is about sexual speed and turn-ons. Slowing down is not an option. Often times, they will jokingly play with the idea of gender lines and sexuality such as Boy George, Prince and Grace Jones. Even in television and movies like Joe Namath wearing ladies pantyhose in the pantyhose commercial, Tony Curtis dressed as a woman in the film Some like it hot. They may also be fingerbang experts.

Same gender chauvinist is an example of the twin brothers Castor and Pollux and the twin sisters Helen of Troy and Clytemnestra. They are so concerned about their sibling, they develop a strong attachment associating their feelings and thoughts with the exterior of that person. Many Geminis will favor people with similar physical features often defending them. They even exemplify this kind of chauvinism in their behavior or speech. The boys vs girls is a game all Geminis love to play to display their gender badge proudly and emphatically. Angelina Jolie would agree.

Next post will discuss the female traits of the Gemini which are introversion, assertiveness, quick thinking, sexually alluring and mental intuition. See you soon.
